Overall Thoughts – SmackDown MITB was a great way to open the show and Daniel Bryan winning was such a shocker. There definitely were some cool and innovative spots; I wouldn’t say it was one of the best MITB’s of all time though. I was ashamed to see Sin Cara get taken out as early as he didn’t get to do as many spots as expected. Kelly/Bella was your typical Diva’s match; I do think it was slightly better than their Over the Limit match though. Henry/Show was actually better than expected and they did things I didn’t think they could do. I like how Big Show sold the leg through the whole match and the post match attack. I don’t know where they are going to go with this, but I’m hoping they have Big Show out of action for a bit. The Raw MITB was the better of the two, this one had great pacing and better spots. This is one of my favorite MITB’s of all time, spot of the match definitely has to go to Evan Bourne. I’m shocked how they come up with new spots for these matches every year and they are awesome. The finish was a totally messed up but it looked cool, great match nonetheless. Christian/Orton was very good, but I didn’t like the finish, especially for a title win. The match itself was really good, like their normal matches but was a lot shorter. I would say it’s their worst match together, but because of how it was booked and time. Punk/Cena was amazing; the crowd made this match one of the best in WWE history, and possibly Cena’s best match of all time. This was a great match, and MOTN. The storytelling in it was amazing and it was filled with action. Everybody must see this match; the atmosphere was one of a kind. To top it off Punk won the belt and left the arena with it! Overall this was a phenomenal WWE PPV and definitely one of their best in a while.
