Booking SummerSlam 2011

6 Pack Challenge for the United States Championship

1. Kofi Kingston © vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Alex Riley

Now obviously you want to have a solid opener for one of you “Big 4” PPVs and what better way to do it then to feature 6 of Raw’s top mid-carders. This would be the first of the two 6 Pack Challenge matches. Leading to this match Kingston will have beaten Dolph Ziggler at Capitol Punishment and hasn’t defended his title because of being in the Raw Money in the Bank. With one week left until SummerSlam, the Raw GM will announce the match. Jack Swagger would pick up the win after throwing Kofi Kingston out of the ring after he hit the Trouble in Paradise on Evan Bourne and pinning him.

Winner and New United States Champion: Jack Swagger

2. Sin Cara vs. Averno

The 1st SmackDown after Capitol Punishment, Averno would debut and take out Sin Cara. They would have 1 singles match in between that and Money in the Bank which would end with Averno getting DQ’d. Both would be in the SmackDown MITB match but Averno would cost Cara the match. Averno’s reasoning for all this would be because Cara held him down in Mexico and Cara would finally challenge Averno to a match at SummerSlam on a SmackDown. Sin Cara would pick up the win with the top rope Moonsault Slam.

Winner: Sin Cara

No Disqualification Match

3. John Morrison vs. R-Truth

Now Morrison will have returned 2 weeks before the Money in the Bank PPV and would be the last qualifier for the Raw MITB. The next week on Raw there would be an 8 man tag with the 4 heels versus the 4 faces. Truth and Morrison would brawl and all hell would break loose causing the match to end in a No Contest. In the MITB match Morrison would cost Truth the win right when he touched the briefcase. These guys would brawl out almost every week on Raw until the anonymous GM announces a No Disqualification Match for SummerSlam, with Morrison going over after a Starship Pain through a Table.

Winner: John Morrison

6 Pack Challenge for the Intercontinental Championship

4. Ezekiel Jackson © vs. Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

A second 6 Pack Challenge match is announced by Teddy Long the SmackDown after the Raw’s was announced. Ezekiel Jackson won the belt at Capitol Punishment and Barrett had failed to retain it on a SmackDown. Barrett would then go on to beat Jackson in a MITB Qualifying match with the help of the Corre. After Barrett had failed to win the MITB he would then claim that he had beat Jackson and earned himself a title shot. Teddy would come out and say that he would get his rematch, but so would 4 other guys. Cody Rhodes would go on to win after hitting the Cross Rhodes on Daniel Bryan.

Winner and New Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes

5. The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio

These two guys would develop a feud right after the MITB PPV because of Miz accusing Mysterio that he cost him the match. Miz would trash talk him and go on to say he never liked him until Rey Mysterio comes out and says to face him that night. Their match would end with Miz winning with a roll up and his feet on the ropes. The next week on Raw Mysterio sees the footage and demands a rematch at SummerSlam and the GM grants it to him. At SummerSlam Mysterio would go over with a 619.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Last Chance World Heavyweight Championship Match

6. Randy Orton © vs. Christian

At this point Christian is a tweener and just couldn’t get the job done of beating Orton. He would lose at Capitol Punishment and lost his chance at MITB. On SmackDown the night after, Christian would come up with excuses of why he hasn’t beat Orton yet and finally Orton would come out and tell him Christian can have the shot, but it will be the last ever as long as Orton is champion. Mark Henry, who won the SmackDown MITB would tease a cash in on a promo but never did so. Christian would then attack Orton the final SmackDown before SummerSlam to make sure Orton isn’t 100% and establishing him as a heel. Christian would go on to win the match after the referee was knocked out and he hit the Killswitch onto the belt.

Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Christian

7. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. CM Punk

The night after MITB, Stone Cold is on Raw drinking beer and celebrating his return. CM Punk’s theme would hit and he would criticize Austin for just being another one of those old washed up legends that waste their life drinking alcohol and doing drugs and says he couldn’t have another match even if he wanted to. Austin then said is that so and used his famous catch phrases on him. CM Punk then challenged him to a match at SummerSlam in a sarcastic way and Austin actually accepts it causing the crowd to have a huge pop. CM Punk would mock Austin through the weeks leading up to SummerSlam. The final Raw before, Austin comes out tries to give Punk the Stunner but Punk scrambles and is shock. At SummerSlam, Austin would go over with the Stone Cold Stunner.

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

Diva’s Championship Match

8. Kelly Kelly © vs. Eve

Kelly would have won the title back at Capitol Punishment from Brie Bella. Nikki Bella would then go on to challenge Kelly at MITB but fail to win the title. The anonymous Raw GM would announce a Number 1 Contenders Battle Royal 2 weeks before SummerSlam where Eve would win. Kelly Kelly would go on to retain the title via the X-Factor and they would shake hands after the match.

Winner and Still Diva’s Champion: Kelly Kelly

WWE Championship Match

9. Alberto Del Rio © vs. John Cena

Alberto Del Rio won the Raw MITB cashed in right away the next night on Raw and successfully beat John Cena for the title. Del Rio would cut a promo the next week on how his destiny has finally arrived and he is finally the WWE Champion. Cena didn’t hesitate to come out and tell him congratulations but good luck holding onto that title because he’s using his rematch clause at SummerSlam. The next week after Cena’s match, Del Rio sneaked in the ring and gave Cena the Cross Armbreaker. The last week before SummerSlam it was Cena/Rey vs. ADR/Miz where ADR would leave Miz to get pinned by Cena. During the match at SummerSlam, Del Rio would actually make Cena tap out to the Cross Armbreaker to put him over huge to close the show.

Winner and Still WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio

Who should get traded in the WWE 2011 Draft and why…

From RAW to SmackDown (Live Draft) –

Randy Orton – There isn’t really much Orton has left to do on RAW now that he has feuded with all the main guys on the roster. Even though he still has the CM Punk feud going, I don’t see them doing much with it anymore. After Extreme Rules he would start feuding with Del Rio and Edge for the World Title. Even though this is unlikely Orton should have a run on SmackDown and win the World Title by SummerSlam.

R-Truth – Since moving to RAW last year he hasn’t really accomplished anything except a short run with the United States Championship and his first WrestleMania match. I can see them turning him heel and feuding with Kofi Kingston to get him momentum and possibly feuding for the IC Title in the summer.

Daniel Bryan – I definitely think this would be the best move to do with Sin Cara coming in and over shadowing him and basically killing his feud with Sheamus. He could feud with Wade Barrett and The Corre for the IC Championship and bring up the Nexus stuff in the past. Eventually around Over The Limit/Capitol Punishment he would win the Title and drop it around October and hopefully move up in the ranks.

Evan Bourne – I could really see him going to SmackDown for a fresh start and possibly align with Daniel Bryan to take on The Corre for a start. Even though they could keep him on RAW to feud with Punk for taking him out, they haven’t used him right at all since returning to RAW so I’m hoping he could regain some Momentum going to SmackDown.

Eve – Laycool needs a fresh feud now that Snooki is gone and Trish probably won’t be around. Even though the Diva’s Title can be defended on both brands, Eve would have a better fit on SmackDown.

From SmackDown to RAW (Live Draft) –

Rey Mysterio – RAW is really lacking a fresh Main Event face and now that Morrison supposedly has backstage heat. After The Miz’s feud with Cena ends, a feud with Rey Mysterio would really deliver and be something new. Mysterio doesn’t really have anything else to do on SmackDown but ending his feud with Cody Rhodes which should be ended at Extreme Rules.

Jack Swagger – When Swagger moved to SmackDown last year because of winning the World Title it was a great move, but since he lost it he’s gone way downhill on SmackDown. I think moving him to RAW would be a great move since Michael Cole is there. I could see his first feud being with John Morrison and hopefully move back up the ranks. A Face turn would also work for Swagger but not until early summer.

Drew McIntyre – This guy has nothing for him going on with him on SmackDown and desperately needs to be moved to RAW. The only reason I would leave him on SmackDown would be for Daniel Bryan and Evan Bourne coming over and him possibly working with one of the two. But I think RAW would be the best choice. I can see him turning into a pretty boy face but I think the best option would be to Team him with Sheamus and have them win the Tag Titles after Sheamus drops the US Title.

Kelly Kelly – There was really no point of moving her to SmackDown last year, so since she is the Diva of the company she needs to be on the flagship show. I don’t know if they will ever give her a run with the Diva’s Title though.

*Keep in mind SmackDown really got screwed in the 2010 Draft so I think this would be fair.*

From RAW to SmackDown (Supplemental) –

Ted DiBiase – He really is getting held back on RAW and really has nothing going on. I could see him turning face and possibly feuding with Rhodes if WWE is willing to push him.

Zack Ryder – This guy is extremely underrated and I think SmackDown would be the best place for him to go. He could build his way up by beating jobbers and hopefully get the push and get an IC Title shot against Daniel Bryan if Wade Barrett drops it to him. I could also see them reforming Hawkins and Ryder for the Tag Division.

David Otunga – Putting him in The Corre would be smart since the Nexus is pretty much done and I really can’t see him being alone just yet.

From SmackDown to RAW (Supplemental) –

Ezekiel Jackson – He really isn’t doing much with The Corre and I can definitely see him being a monster mid card heel on RAW.

Chavo Guerrero – Move him so he could be together with Vickie Guerrero again but I’m not expecting nothing major here.

Beth Phoenix – Moving her to RAW and turning her heel again to feud with Kelly Kelly would be smart but I think she needs to be back on RAW.

Chris Masters – I think Masters could do more stuff on RAW but nothing major.
